Yarn:
- Yellow worsted weight yarn (Approx. 100g
- Red worsted weight yarn (Approx. 25g)
- White worsted weight yarn (Approx. 25g)
- Orange worsted weight yarn (Approx. 15g)
- Small amount of black yarn for eyes
Hook Size:
- 4.0mm crochet hook (US size G/6) – For double strand yarn
- 3.5mm crochet hook (US size E/4) – For Single strand yarn
Other Tools:
- Yarn needle (for weaving in ends)
- Stitch markers (optional)
- Scissors
- 2 black safety eyes (10mm size) or you can crochet the eyes
- Stuffing for the Comb

*FO and leave a long tail to sew the wattle onto the hat.

Assembly:
- Sew the Comb onto the above center of the hat.
- Sew the beak onto the front center of the hat, slightly below the midpoint.
- Attach the eyes just above the beak.
- Attach the wattle just below the beak.
- Weave in all ends.
